Ready to cook? Let's do it!
Lightly season: Sprinkle both sides of the frozen chicken breasts with salt.
Preheat: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 4 minutes. Preheating helps the chicken cook evenly.
Initial air fry: Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the frozen chicken breasts in a single layer in the basket. Don't overcrowd the basket! You might need to cook in batches.
Cook and flip: Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through. This helps it cook evenly.
Season and oil: Remove the chicken from the air fryer. In a small bowl, mix your chosen spices. Rub the chicken breasts with a little oil and then coat them with the spice mixture.
Final air fry: Place the seasoned chicken breasts back in the air fryer and cook for another 10-20 minutes.
Check the temperature: The most important step! Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should reach 165°F (74°C). Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the breast.
Rest: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps keep it juicy.
